Chef Robert - Terrific Chef and an even more terrific friend!!
People often ask me why do you go to Disney so often? Why do you sell Disney so much ? Don't you get bored?
My answer is simple. Disney is unlike any other place in the world.
Disney can cater to anyone.
Where else could someone with food allergies
or a special diet have their meals created just for them?
Where else can families with special needs go where they would make
accommodations to make your trip more relaxing, enjoyable and worry free?
What about all families? Where do our children get to see us be kids again?
No business meetings or phone calls to take us away from them.
Disney is magical for children and adults. It allows you to channel your inner child
and remember days when life was carefree. Where you awoke to
the wonder of what the day would hold.
As children we found magic all around us.
This is what Disney does day in and out every day of the year.
No one does it better than Disney! Your amazement does not just come in the form of the parks.
You can find it in their restaurants , entertainment, shops and above all their employees.
I personally can vouch for the magic their employees make . I have experienced it first hand.
From their hotel staff, namely Darrin and Eric O'Leary, who took a bad situation
and turned it around to a positive and wonderful memory!

Frank makes a mean breakfast!!
Thank you both for the special viewing . You are fine examples of what makes Disney so special.
To Danny Medina & Chef Robert, both of Disney's Contemporary Resort.
While we were at Chef Mickey's for breakfast we met some new friends.
Chef Frank was there that morning to make us breakfast. He was wonderful to us.
We also met the manager, Danny Medina through pin trading.
(I should mention at this time neither Chef Frank, Danny, Darrin or Eric knew I owned my own travel agency)!!
Danny was so very patient with my son. Never even realizing he was
a child with special needs. He must have spent a good 20 minutes discussing
pins with my son. He even promised to look out for the one pin he needed to finish off a set.
While we ate our dinner Danny comes back to our table with the silver version of one of the
pins in JJ's other set . HE tells him he couldn't find Pirate Pete but he wants him to have this one.
It is a new series that just came out. I didn't think I would ever see anything top the joy I saw in
JJ's face. I was wrong!

Danny & JJ pin trading the day away!!
The night before we were to leave to come home we got a message in our room from Danny
saying to call him or check with the front desk in the morning.
When we received the message it was too late to call. It was 11:00 pm!!
The following morning I call down to the front desk and am told JJ has a package.
He and I go down to retrieve it. It is from Chef Robert & Danny ~ It is a beanie of chef Mickey
and there on his apron is a gold pirate Pete pin (the coveted pin we were searching for)
and a silver Pirate Pete pin !
JJ's face lit up brighter than any fireworks display Disney puts on!
He told everyone who would listen what his friends Chef Robert & Danny did for him.
We have come to count on Robert for exceptional meals but we never expected that he & Danny would
be the best medicine possible for this family . Neither of these fine men knew that
their simple act of kindness would give this family something we desperately needed - hope.
We went to Disney to forget the stress of the past couple of months.
We came back with a renewed sense of hope that things would turn out okay.
This folks is why I sell Disney and visit so much. Disney can make magic happen in
subtle ways as well as in dramatic form.
It is because of Chef Robert, Danny, Darrin , Eric O'Leary and all their
employees who make magic happen every day at Disney!
